After tearing down and renovating the former business unit entirely, the children’s day care HISA e.V., an area of 420 m², offers 65 children between the ages 1-6 years, fanciful rooms where they can feel comfortable, play, and interact.

15 meter-long glass walls were installed to connect seven group and play rooms, creating an open, flowing space. The two playrooms are the heart of the day care center and the absolute favorite spaces of the children. Hiding places, slides, small round windows offer plenty of free space and encourage the children to be explorers of their surroundings.
Baukind was commissioned for all the planning services for the building project, project management, fire protection, interior design and interior elements. Additionally, baukind provided the institution with the application for funding and coordinated with all the departments involved.
