The cloakroom, resembling a spacious piazza, is the heart of the daycare center. The Piazza is a place for social exchange between parents and educators, and creates a calming entrance for the children. A tree transports a refreshing outdoor atmosphere into the building. The skylight above provides a variable natural light. On the benches below, the children can play or rest under the tree.

he group rooms and bathrooms are green, almost as though the lawn has made its way from the outside into the building. The indoor and outdoor spaces offer plenty of room for movement and imaginative play. The natural, creative pedagogical approach of the daycare center is reflected in the design of the façade. Large windows provide a view from the inside onto the green space outside. The façade´s wood paneling provides children with a larger-than-life chalkboard on which to draw.
